Madonna New York 80's Deborah Feingold Exhibition of Bologna

ONO Contemporary Art presents the exhibition MADONNA - NEW YORK'S 80 - Deborah Feingold a 40 shots photographic journey by Deborah Feingold that through the most influential icon of the '80s, Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, better known by her stage name Madonna, traces the landscape culture and music of New York in those years.

  

In 1982, after studying dance and a career swinging between the waitress and singer, at the age of 24 years Madonna signed her first contract with Sire Records which released her first single "Everybody", immediately became one of the most played songs in all dance clubs in the United States. It is in that same year that Deborah Feingold immortalized Madonna for the magazine "Star Hits" photographing her for what she was: a young ambitious girl with a strong sense of style and a strong stage presence. On the day of the shooting, Deborah took only half an hour to get familiar with the baby pop star and make a photo shoot in which a young Madonna plays on the set with different elements, which have given rise to a series of shots aware, sensual and determined that for the first time are presented in this exhibition, never shown in Italy.
